All-Purpose 5% Vinegar Cleaner for Home and Boat - Eliminates Stains and Spots

MA5X 5% Vinegar Cleaner is a ready-to-use, vinegar-based spray that dissolves salt deposits, water spots, mineral buildup, rust stains, and organic residue on boats and at home. At 5% acetic acid, the same concentration used in food-grade cleaning vinegar, it's effective on alkaline deposits like hard water scale and salt spray without requiring a separate dilution step. It smells like vinegar and rinses clean without leaving residue or streaks.

How to Use

Spray directly onto the surface, allow a brief dwell time for heavy deposits, then wipe with a clean cloth or rinse with fresh water. For stubborn salt or mineral buildup, a second application with light agitation will loosen the residue. No diluting needed, it's ready to use straight from the bottle.

What It Works On

Glass, mirrors, stainless steel, chrome, fiberglass, gel coat, vinyl, ceramic, and most plastics. On boats: waterline scum, deck salt spray, cabin surfaces, and mildew spots on upholstery. At home: floors, countertops, bathroom tile, and kitchen surfaces. Avoid use on natural stone surfaces such as marble, granite, and travertine, acetic acid etches calcium-based stone.

Why Vinegar-Based

The formula is biodegradable - it breaks down readily under aerobic and anaerobic conditions, confirmed by SDS testing. The active ingredient, acetic acid, is naturally derived and has no synthetic fragrance additives. For boaters using it on decks and surfaces that drain toward the water, avoid large-volume discharge directly into waterways and rinse toward the dock or shore where possible.

Safe Handling

Signal word: Warning. Causes serious eye irritation on contact. Wear eye protection during use, particularly when spraying in enclosed spaces. If eye contact occurs, rinse with water for at least 20 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Avoid prolonged skin contact - wash hands after use. Keep away from strong bases and oxidizing agents. Keep out of reach of children. pH 2-3. Non-flammable.
